Speaker Sean Poppy

Sean Poppy is the Outreach Coordinator for the University of Georgia’s Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. He schedules and conducts outreach presentations to communities and schools surrounding the Savannah River Site, using animals to educate and promote the research at SREL and fostering an appreciation for science and the environment. He has worked at the Savannah River Ecology Lab for 20 years and gives more than 300 presentations a year to more than 40,000 people, most of whom are children.
